Is it normal to get winded so easily?

I weigh 160+ pounds and I'm 5' 2" and I'm 13. Whenever I go up a hill or up stairs I feel winded. I feel winded while bike riding too even if it's a really short bike ride. I sometimes even get winded while just walking and especially when I try to jog or run.

Would this have the same effects as running up and down the stairs for twenty minutes?

Paralegal work qualifications/pay?

I'm working towards my bachelor's (polysci major and history minor). Will a job applicant look better with a bachelor's and paralegal certification as opposed to just a certification or associates? I've done research and found that paralegal work will pay around 50k per year average with 10 years plus of work experience. Pain in legs, went to doctors... dont know what to do?

I have been having severe pain in my hips, knees and ankles since December. I have been to the doctors and the hospital multiple times. They have tried X-Rays, MRI, and Physical Therapy. Beouse that is what they have been told since they were born. What your sense of modestly is is becouse of what you grow up being told and am used to. I believe that you don't need to cover your whole body in order to be modest, but that is because I grew up believing that their is nothing wrong with going around in a pair of shorts(as long as they are not to short) and a tshirt.

Can't sleep? Thunderstorm making it worse?

So today and yesterday I couldn't sleep, and right now its 1:41 AM where I live and I still can't sleep. I have to wake up at 9:00 AM, so I need to get to bed. Also, to make it worse, there's a thunderstorm right now. The thunder isn't really loud, but I just don't like thunder, and there is frequent lightening. Too much pink and purple will make the room look childish and a bit sickly. The colours go together (depending what shade of each) however if there is too much of each it can look a bit silly. My room had been purple with bits of pink for as long as I can remember and whenever I come home from Uni I realise how childish it looks. Luckily I've sorted it out a bit by putting up other things. Patterned rugs,blankets and cushions etc, can help the room look less dull. Try not to put too much pink though.

Why do Leos like me so much?

Should i forgive my dad?

My dad is bipolar and has been arrested over 30 times for numerous things-assault, aggrivated battery, attempted murder, tresspassing, violating perole, violating O.P., endangerment of a child, stalking, the list goes on and on. But that is just the bipolar disorder combined with some other mental issyes he has. I used to have good times with him, and I remember them. I miss his blue eyes and I wish to see them again. My mom told me he's in dominican republic because he has to do community service for something with his invalid passport IDK. But he called me and he acted like nothing ever happened!? Sometimes when you are unsure like you are, you fear others more than you care to please Allah (swt) and if you think about it you haven't fallen far from the tree. Perhaps you will be a role model for your mother. She should have been the one to congratulate you on wearing it but since she is misguided, you can be the one to bring her back to the straight path. I am going to be a freshman in september and I really want to make a good impression. I want to be noticed, but for the right reasons. Will wearing heels make it look like I am trying to much. As far as Child Support Dept., not much will be done there, they are over burdened will the same kind of case as yours. (and mine) Contempt of Court? That means nothing to them. Really horrible never ending leg pain?

2 days ago my leg started to hurt really bad after i got out of the shower, yesterday is was bad. it literally feels like someone is stabbing my thigh over and over with something and my friend had to help me down my stairs. Today at certain times it has been unbearable! i went to the doctor and she said my leg felt really tight and she said it's just sore muscles and suggested certain stretches to help it. i went home and did them and i was stuck on the floor for 10 minutes until someone could help me move to my room. now when i lay down it doesn't go away it still stays and i have no idea what this could be! Trying to size a header what can I do?

I have a house that is 28 feet deep (about) it's a cape cod with a somewhat finished attic. The floor joists for the attic (or cieling joist for the main floor) are spaced 16" o.c. and are 2x8's. Obviously the 2x8's don't run the whole width of the house with out hitting a support wall. However there is a stairwell to the upstairs and the 2x8's run from the outside wall to the stair well wall(10ft or so), which is built in Face Framed 2x4 including the top plate and the 2x8's rest on the face framed 2x4 wall (not nailed to doubled up 2x8's like in normal framing). I would like to open up the stairwell and header up the whole stair well wall. So one beam would hold all these floor joists over an 8 ft span. This is in wisconsin so assume snow load and maybe 40psf since it will be a living area above I guess. It looks like if I'm reading the span table right that I'm going to need 3-2x12? Is this correct or can I get away with 2-2x10? Worst case scenario I can put one colom in the center If I need to. And yes all the supports have been worked out in the basement area to compensate.

Yesterday I went to his hockey game with his dad because I was just fed up of not seeing him and spending the hour talking with his dad (which turned out to be not at all awkward, I thought it went well) was worth the 20 or so minutes I spent with him. Everything seemed fine, I thought I made a good impression, I'm going to a good college, I volunteer at a local wildlife sanctuary, I danced ballet for years, (his dad and I discussed all fo this) etc. When we got to his house I hugged him goodbye and he jokingly pushed me away saying that his older brother was probably watching and I should go. Even though he was kidding there was an odd sense of urgency in his voice so I left. Today we find out that his older brother (30) went through his text messages, we're flirty and I said that his older brother seemed controlling, other than that there's nothing in the messages. This morning his brother and father told him he's not allowed to even speak to me because I'm a bad influence (I have a tattoo and nose piercing). I dress modestly though and I've never ever had a problem with parents before, usually they love me. What do I do I really want to fix this? I don't want to sneak around or alienate him from his parents, but he and I both don't want to give up the friendship.

Don't think about where you might have put it. After all that time has passed, after having read another author, after having written other things, then you can read it as if it weren't your own, and hopefully you'll have a better understanding of what is wrong with that. (BTW a single kit in a litter isn't something to be proud of for a cat)

Help! I have accidentally broken my son's girlfriend's nose!?

I recently split up with my wife who I have been married to for nine years. My son thought that it would be a good idea to have a house party to try and cheer me up a bit and to possibly help me find a new partner. I wasn't to happy with idea but in the end I decided to go along with it to make my son happy. My son invited a few of my friends, some work colleagues and his girlfriend. During the evening time, one of my work colleagues called Jenny started to flirt with me. I have always liked her and I thought that I should give things a go with her. So anyway I took her into my bedroom and we started to strip off for sex and she then picked up my tie and made it into a blindfold and put it on me. Because she had lots to drink that night she rushed out of the bedroom and went to the bathroom to throw up. Then an almighty scream was let off and then without thinking I punched as hard as I could at where the scream was coming from ( for some reason I though I was defending off a burglar). I took off my blindfold and It turned out that I had knocked out my son's girlfriend. And it also turns out that Jenny had passed out in the bathroom. My son instantly came running up the stairs to see what had happened and as soon as I heard them footsteps I went straight to my bedroom and pretended to be asleep. My son's girlfriend woke up five minutes later and then my son came to "wake" me up. She had no clue as to what happened and she thought that she had tripped over something. We all got into the car and and my son (who never drinks alcohol) drove us to the hospital and Jenny was also in the car because my son thought she needed medical attention as well. They're both alright now, but I just can't seem to shake off the guilt of what happened to my sons girlfriend. The only good thing to come out of this is that I am dating Jenny. What should I do? Is the exercise working?

Ive quit smoking after 15+ yrs and began swimming on a daily basis. I swim after work most days at least 5 times a week. I can swim 500 metres freestyle and thats it. I started off doing 250 metres freestyle and 250 breast stroke but the breast stroke is too easy and I managed to replace it with just freestyle. Ive been doing this for about 10 weeks now and I don't seem to be improving. Im still totally a wreck when Im done and I still need to stop for breath every 50 metres or risk sinking and drowning. I would have thought Id be able to swim further and not have to stop as often after 10 weeks but Ive really only improved modestly since I started. All the while people twice my age are swimming in the next lane who never stop for breath and continue swimming after Ive left the pool. Why is it taking so long for me to get fit? Im 33 male and not overweight. I swim till my lungs cant take anymore and my body and limbs hurt. I swim intensely and often. My aim is to reach a standard of being able to swim 2km freestyle without stopping. When I can do this Ill know Im fit but I dont know if I ever will. Please help.

Does crown molding go with country themed decor?

A little background...we have a farmhouse or country looking home (it has a full length covered front porch with rocking chairs and a swing) with tan siding and maroon stairs and deck with white trim railings. Inside I used to like old world style but it never really worked. So I'd like to go casual country (not too extreme). The problem is my dining room has 10 or 12 foot ceiling with crown molding and I thought that crown was more traditional. My husband doesn't think the country theme is going to work and insists he likes the tuscan look. I think long, poofy prom dresses can be pretty, but in my opinion, the skirt part looks a bit like tulle overload, and I feel like the colors are a bit wonky. That's just what I think though. I would opt for a more elegant, satiny kind of gown in a rich color and maybe some crystal embellishments. Neither varnish or lacquer can hold up to the suns UV rays. They will break down in a few years and have to be done over. These products are only good for interior use.

Shin pain- don't think it's shin splints.?

I developed pain in both my shins and at first I thought it was shin splints. I gave myself a week off of excessive exercise. I looked up ways to strengthen the muscle and did those exercises. I ride horses so I have to keep those muscles strong anyways. For the past 3 weeks, the pain in my shins has been pretty constant, before and after riding my horse but not during. Running is out of the question- the pain is so severe that my legs sometimes feel like they're going to give out- so I stop running (logical). I've figured out how to go up stairs so they don't hurt half as bad by not straightening my legs. Going down stairs is pretty much a crap-shoot as to if I'm going to fall or not, I feel like I can't support myself. Should I head to the doctor and maybe some physical therapy? Any ideas? I've done research on shin splints and the symptoms involved and it doesn't seem to be leading up to shin splints. Thanks to much for any input!!

Is my ankle sprain healed enough for sports yet?

I sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago and the pain is gone (walking down stairs, etc), and I've ran a little bit and there wasn't any pain. The only thing though, is that if I've been sitting down for a really long time and not using the foot, and especially waking up in the morning, when I start walking it hurts for a few seconds, then goes away after a few steps. Does this mean I'm not fully recovered/ready yet?

i hear that amla oil (especially dabur amla) is a very good product to use no matter the hair type and good for mens hair as well but ive been recently reading that it contains mineral oil that clogs your pores and does not promote hair growth. has anyone had any experience with the dabur amla oil they could share? ive started to (freeform) loc my hair again and im currently using essential oils of rosemary, mint, lavender and jojoba/coconut based carrier oils which works wonders. your comments are greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!!!!!

12 yr old cat circling, lost weight, confusion?

My 12 yr old cat has recently had problems eating, started out as not being able to crunch dry food. She started circling every few steps, always clockwise. Now she sits in one position, acts confused, walks with her head down, has to be reminded to eat her wet food. Vet did bloodwork and dental cleaning, everything looked ok. He did find a slight swelling in her right ear, cleaned out lots of wax and pus, but couldn't find bacteria under the microscope. After recovering from ear procedure (leaned to left, fell down when shaking her head), she went back to circling, even when going up/down stairs. Just seems to sit in one place all day. Acts hungry, but it's a task to get her to eat more than a little bit of food since she licks at it rather than taking bites. Overall, she seems confused and dispondent. Vet is testing for toxoplasmosis, but as she's an indoor kitty I'm not expecting this to turn up positive. Any ideas?

Concussion or stinger?

I just finished a full contact football camp yesterday, and I've gotten some helmet to helmet contact. Then I started feeling a bit nauseous (but there's a pain that comes in and out), haven't thrown up though. I've went to the bathroom and took pepto bismol. It's been in and out, the coaches said it might have been the food but it's still here. My head hurts a bit when I kind of jog down the stairs. I remember everything. I haven't blacked out or any of that. Just feeling nauseous and a slight discomfort on the top of my head.

Does anyone have any good make-up tips?

I'm an african american fourteen year old girl and I've been wearing make-up since sixth grade. Now bear with me, my skin is crispy dark like those wannabe-white black girls who try to tan. :/ Anyways i recently just got a small make up kit with Lilac, Silver, Dark Gray, Lavender and Plum inside. Its also has highlighter and gel liner. Now see here's the thingg there only one make-up tip inside of it. I tried it on for the first time to day, and it looks good, but i want to know more. I also have mascara (but its kinda sucks, just a little). Please tell me what can i do to make myself look bettetr. Since I'm young I'm not allowed to wear concealer or blush yet. I'm heading to high school in a August and I want to start my freshmen year off by looking pretty, and looking cool. (Yes, Apparently my parents didn't have good sex, because my face sucks :I)

Do i need to prime my walls?

my room is a really light beige color, and i want to paint them a light purple/lavender. will i need to prime them first? and what type of primer should i use?

My parents are in this group with another couple, and this other couple have two VERY VERY rowdy boys that will not sit still. Playing outside seems to work while they are outside but once back inside they continue to be rowdy and they run up stairs down stairs, up stairs down stairs. I just need some ideas on how to control them and have them listen. Thanks! :)

Severe Knee Pain In Both Knees.?

I'm 14 and my knees ALWAYS hurt. When I squat or kneel, my knees pop really loud, and I can't sit crisscross apple-sauce for more than 3-4 minutes without a really bad pain in my knees! I also have trouble climbing up and down stairs, and running/standing for long periods of time. They have been hurting for about 11 months now, and I don't know what's wrong. No swelling, just severe pain! My dad has bad knees, and he has had to get surgery three times, but I don't know why. Could it be genes from my dad, or something else? Do I need to see a doctor? Should I wear a brace? PLEASE HELP ME!

Very embarrassed/worried about my husbands new dress sense?

My husband used to wear the typical male clothing, jeans, jumpers, polo shirts, you get the idea! Anyway, I had a work meal a few days ago, which we were allowed to bring our partners to. It wasnt possible for us to turn up together, as he was finishing off some jobs at home and I was going straight from work. So there i am, waiting to meet him outside the meal, and he turns up wearing a t-shirt which reads "ADIHASH" in the colours of the jamaican flag, not only was i DEEPLY embarrassed as i work as an accountant and everyone i work with is upper class, but as far as my knowledge is concerned, my husband does not, and never has smoked weed. I do not know if my husband mis-read the t shirt to say "ADDIDAS" but my husband never even wears this. The next day, he came down stairs wearing a hat which said "GANJA FARMER" on it, with a cannabis leaf printed all over it. I am very concerned, what should I do?

Maxi dresses are for sure not my thing. They make peoples body look interesting and just are pretty old lady-ish. That's my personal opinion but you seem to like them so go for it!

I played basketball, I'm 18, and my case sounds very similar to yours! I would get really tired during exercise and have trouble breathing. My resting heart rate is normally right around 100 but it has gotten up to 120 before. I have tachycardia and an arrhythmia. My blood tests showed no thyroid problem as well! I too had a 24 hour monitor and tried beta blockers which lowered my blood pressure too low. I am having to have a procedure called an ablation done soon, because without it my heart muscle will eventually start to weaken! Good luck!!

403 Olds or 350 Pontiac?

My '78 Trans Am is an original W72 car but when I bought it someone has swapped a 403 into it. I'm currently resto-modding it pro-touring style and as with most projects, I bought a parts car. The parts car has the 350 HO motor in it. My plan is to swap a modestly built LS2 into it but I really want to hurry up and get it running so to save time I plan to fit my subframe for an LS series motor and run either the 350 or the 403 until I get the LS motor built. My question is this: What are the pros and cons of each engines and which would you use if it were your car?

Pains in my hip causing me problems!!?

When I was younger I had a dislocated hip so i've its always been weak but over the past few months it has been really painful that bending down and walking up the stairs is a struggle. I'm experiencing shooting pains and its usually on a night after a day at college or work, it feels heavy as well and even my knee seems tense sometimes :( i'm off to the hospital tomorrow to get it x-rayed, expecting the worse. What do you think it is? i don't do sports or the gym either.

Pakistani women dress more modestly. Hindu women with their terrible sarees show their belly, and often their belly is made of hanging fat, which is horrible. Better dress the European way and hide all that hanging fat.

No you probably won't get in trouble but possibly teased or gossiped about. Don't feel bad or embarrassed you mom just doesn't want to lose her little girl. Ask your friends if you could borrow a bra if they have a spare if you can't convince your mom. If non of your female friends are going try and make friends with other girls maybe one of them will let you borrow one for the trip.

I'm uberrrr Skinny and losing weight isn't the problem. I like my Body and I'm 5'8. And Pale :/ but besides that, the real problem is that I'm Lackin' at the top. My waist is small and I have a Fuller Bottom, Like Tush and Thighs, but Everytime I put on a Suit That seems to be the problem. I have a Triangle/Halter top/Padded/Lavender Color. It started out me going down the stairs with some kind of girl. And this really short annoying girl was going up the stairs with her mom and she wasnt being mean to me because her mom was there. So i let her go and i had to sit down to tie my shoes. She came back down stairs and started being super annoying and the girl i was with was not paying attention to this little girl. We came to my house and some how this little girl was there. So this girl that went with me everywhere had beautiful blonde flowing hair and she was so radiant from her positive energy and spirit that she made me calm and relaxed. But that little girl became so annoying she turned into this little demon thing sort of like a mini exorcist or idk and i was so freaked out but annoyed that the more i got angry the more this little girl benefited from this. So i took my tennis racket and started to hit her haha. But then my mom came in and told me its really easy to get rid of her after she left the beautiful blonde girl looked at me and disappeared and so did the little demon. FEWF that was a wierd dream i was afraid to open my eyes and when i did and i closed them again there was that dream again! WHAT DOES IT MEAN please please help me!

I think every girl can relate. You have to have faith in who you are, and love yourself, and stop comparing. Change the way you talk to yourself. Instead of saying "She is prettier then I am" try thinking "I have a beautiful friend, but I am a different kind of beautiful, no lesser, just different". It also helps if you compliment yourself once every morning. Confidence comes with truly loving yourself.

How long will my belly button be red?

I got my belly button pierced a week ago. I clean it 2-3 times a day with saline and once a day with Dr. Bronner's lavender soap. It looked perfect for the first 5 days, then became a little bruised. Can't get my son's girlfriend out of my head? This is getting worse?

My youngest son has been dating a 19 year old girl he met through a dating site for a year now, and she just moved in a few month ago. What she always wears is always too revealing and i just cant get it out of my head. I am close to forcing them to move out. Me and her haven't had any connections because i try not to connect with her. I have asked my son to tell her to dress more modestly, but he ignores it. I can't live in a house like this. Our rule in the house is that i don't get to kick them out until they are finished college and they need good grades. My 2 eldest sons have moved out with a good career ahead of them. This is something i promised to my kids when they hit high school. I can't break promises, what can i do? I want him out of the house. HELP MORTIFICATION? 10 Points?

Me and this guy had a project to together and to be frank I did most of the work since he went away for a week on a trip. I did it diligently and without complaint; it's the end of the year and summer is right around the corner so at least then I have less homework (just physics, English, and algebra/geometry) for the summer. So we presented our project today and according to our peers, the presentation was great. I had worked really hard on the Powerpoint and the life-size silhouette we had to do so I felt a little better about it. But then, MY PARTNER POSTED THE GRADE ON FACEBOOK!! I use Facebook primarily to get in touch with people quickly, but not really to post what's going on in my life and I just could not believe it. WHO DOES THAT? The silhouette grade was embarrassing really, a mere low 90s and the PowerPoint was okay, but it could have been 100. And I told him: THE SILHOUETTE WASN'T EVEN THAT GREAT and even if it were, you're supposed to accept it humbly and modestly.That's what I typed verbatim. And he replied, "lol". AH!

Take the eyeliner and very lightly draw on your lower lash line. Apply mascara. If the lip gloss is a light pink, apply it. If it's nude, apply it. Anything else I'm not too sure about.
