Should freshman girls wear high heels to high school?

I am going to be a freshman in september and I really want to make a good impression. I want to be noticed, but for the right reasons. Will wearing heels make it look like I am trying to much. Also I am 5'3 and I was wondering if that is too tall to wear high heels as a freshman. I definitely don't want to tower over all the other girls and guys. The guys in my school are on average 5'4 or 5'5 as of this year. But I am sure they will all grow. I am looking at all the new clothes out there and all the outfits have high heels. So I was just wondering if many high school freshman wear high heels. I am planning on high heels ranging from 3 to 6 inches. Also the high I am going to is quite big. It is two stories, so I would have to walk on stairs. To give an idea of the size of the school, my class alone has 315 students in it and there is usually around 400 or 500 students in most classes. So it is big enough to hold around 1600 to 1700 students. Oh and I only have to walk inside, so no worries about grass. Sorry if this is a lot of information, but what you wear defines who you are. So should I wear high heels?
