What to do about nosey neighbors?

Ok so we live in apartment complex so i cant put a fence up. Anyways Whenever someone comes over she makes up an excuse To get any kind of gossip And its getting really annoying..And then when we come up the stairs she hears us and opens the door to talk .... Plz help!! Its getting very annoying
