I need help choosing a bedroom wall color/ theme?

Make sure to think about the light your room gets. If you only have one window, then you won't want to pick too dark of a color. I personally like the yellow :) I would get a plain white bedspread, and then find a floral quilt or knitted throw to put on the end of the bed. The thing about yellow is that it's very versatile. You can do a lot with it. You could get decorative pillows of almost any color. For a more old-fashioned, eclectic look, go with floral pillows, maybe some lace ones thrown in there too. White furniture looks very good with yellow walls, so if you didn't get new furniture, your parents would be willing to spend more money on other things for your room. I saw this chair on Urban Outfitters that is basically just totally awesome (I'll put a link below) and I love anything from Anthropologie. Be sure to check those sites out, you could get some good ideas from them!
